Join us for a week-long intensive program for dedicated pianists, singers, and string, woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists, ages 14 to 19. 绿帽社区鈥檚 Summer Academy of Music combines private instruction, chamber music, public performance, courses, and social activities for a week of inspiring music-making! Monday through Friday, Academy participants will enjoy a full schedule of activities at the Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music on the beautiful 绿帽社区 campus.
Participants will receive private lessons and master classes with 绿帽社区 Faculty members as well as coachings in chamber music or art song. Practice time will be available each day, making use of the Conservatory鈥檚 excellent pianos and practice facilities. A variety of courses will be held throughout the week such as Introduction to Conducting, Aural Skills, and Music Theory. Evening recreational events will include outdoor activities, movies, and faculty recitals. The week will conclude with a public student recital.
Fees and Registration
Summer Academy Fees 2025:
Residence Camper - $750 + HST
Day Camper (no overnight accommodation) - $600 + HST
All meals are included.
