May 2024 Reunion
Join your classmates in celebration of your ÂÌñÉçÇø Reunion, May 10-12, 2024!
The class of '94 is celebrating their 30-Year Reunion this year.
Letter from the Class Executive
Hi friends,
The moment you’ve been waiting for…
Your Life Class officers are starting the planning for our 30th reunion. Really, 30 years????
As a class, we have a bit of a reputation of being a loyal, proud, accomplished and FUN graduate class. We can’t fail our constituents. We will be providing updates and tantalizing (Gill’s word) reasons to come to the 30th via our .
Based on popular demand, our approach to this reunion is to have several planned events and leave lots of time for the class to hang out, walk in the wetlands, roll down the hill by Trueman or whatever fits your fancy (Gill’s word).
So. What’s the plan, you say?
On the Friday night we will be hosting a casual meet and greet in our residence lounge area, similar to a beer garden warm up in 1991. This will be a chance to catch up, marvel at the mileage on our Subarus, compliment each other on looking only 45, complain about our angsty teenagers, ask each other if we’ve ever played pickle ball, brag about our pickle ball team, discuss the difference heat pumps make, bitch about the price of lettuce and enjoy a bevy and some snacks (Dave Eddy official supplier, always was the best and also has a heat pump).
Saturday we will have a pub crawl in Sackville that will officially kick off at CHMA Radio headquarters. Song requests now open!
We have been working with the Alumni Team to ensure that the plan for the Alumni Dinner is good and that we will be able to see Volume 2 of the Spoons lecture. Kidding, we are assured that the food and entertainment will be good. A dinner hosted in the school cafeteria with the worst acoustics, what could go wrong?
We will also be invited to a number of MTA events that are a planned part of reunion weekend.
We also wanted to take the time to remember classmates we have lost. In the past five years we have lost one a very special member of the MTA family – Dave Bruun. There are some classmates who are organizing an opportunity to celebrate Dave’s life and share memories. There will be more to come.
We are looking forward to seeing yawl.
Tara, Christa, Kathryn and Gillian
